The first day of summer is this Sunday, and what better way to kick it off than with a “Community Neighbor Nights.” A special collaboration between the Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District, the Johnstown Community YMCA and the Town of Johnstown, the event will be held this Friday night from 6 to 9 p.m. at the YMCA. There will be face painting, backyard and carnival games, volleyball, a bounce house and more, including food trucks and live music.
