A new spot for community members to receive additional support, named the Cottage Collective, held a grand opening last month. Weld RE-5J school district’s Cottage Collective is a permanent clothing closet, food pantry and supply station intended to serve district students as well as Johnstown and Milliken residents.
“Our philosophy is ‘bring what you can, take what you need.’Anyone in our community is welcome to donate and shop to their comfort level,” District Instructional Specialist Ali Ham said.
