Marlys Mitchell, of Milliken, was awarded the JM Post Volunteer Legacy Award July 25 at the American Legion Steak & Shrimp Dinner. The JM Post chose a Volunteer of the Year and this year the board decided to start the Volunteer Legacy Award. A plaque is posted in the bar area of the Post.
