Morgan Hawkins of Milliken was caught recently taking a stroll with his parrot, Ruby. Hawkins said he has had the bird for about two years, after its owner was killed in an auto accident. He said the poor bird was so stressed from her normally active life that became relegated to a cage that she lost every feather she had. She looked like a plucked chicken. Morgan has taken on the job of reducing her stress and takes her for walks daily, which she loves, he said.
