COLEMAN
COLEMAN
Kevin was born on June 30, 1950, in Vinton, Iowa, to Fredrick and Phyllis (Dufresne) Coleman. The family moved to Colorado when he was very young to help his mother’s asthma condition, and she passed away when he was five.
While in high school, he proudly enlisted and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. After returning from the service, he worked alongside his family in farming and later at Kodak in Windsor. In 1977, he pursued his true passion and began his own trucking business, calling it K&J Coleman Trucking and later named it KRJ Coleman Trucking, in honor of his three children, which he operated with pride for decades. The same year, on September 10, 1977, Kevin married the love of his life, Jeanie Kite, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and together they built a beautiful family.
Kevin enjoyed mechanics and restoring and working on cars of all kinds. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his hard work and independence, and his pride in the trucking business he built. His legacy of love and dedication will live on through those who knew and loved him so much.
Thankful to have shared his life are his wife, Jeanie of Johnstown; his children, Reggie (Monica) Coleman of Milliken, Rylee (Liz) Coleman of Milliken, and Ressie (Tim) Panalis of Berthoud; and his nine cherished grandchildren: Hayden, Kopus, Riane, Ryken, Malaya, Treyson, Brynlee Rose, Bryxlynn, and Braylee Mae. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherri Smith and Kathy (Ervin) Frank; brother-in-law, Brad (Sherry) Kite; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Phyllis (Dufresne) Coleman; his brothers, William and David Coleman; and his parentsin law, Clarence and Rose Kite.
