Herrera, 63, of Greeley, formerly of Johnstown passed away on July 20, 2025, at Fairacres Manor in Greeley. She was born May 28, 1962, in Loveland to Eluterio Carlos and Terersa (Saucedo) Herrera and grew up in Johnstown with her large family.

Cathy graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1978. She loved to craft, and play bingo, but most enjoyed social times with her family. She was very good about staying in touch with extended family members, remaining caught up with loved ones.

Her Catholic faith was very important throughout her life.

Thankful to have shared her life are her siblings, Hortencia (Luiz) Troncoso, Carlos (Josefina) Herrera, Oscar (Lupe) Herrera, Isabelle (Lee) Moñtano, Raul (Elena) Herrera, Omar (Della) Herrera, Mario Herrera, John (Carmen) Herrera and Hector (Shelly) Herrera; numerous nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Jose Luis and Manuel; and her sister-in-law, Janice Herrera.

Visitation was held July 28 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with a Rosary following. Mass of Christian Burial was held July 29 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment was at Johnstown Cemetery followed by lunch.
