Rosa Senaida Troncoso, 83, of Johnstown peacefully passed away at home on January 25, 2026, surrounded by

her family.

Rosa was born October 21, 1941, in Montezuma, New Mexico, to Damacio and Navora (Encinias) Maestas. She grew up in Montezuma where she attended school. On June 23, 1962, she married Juan Troncoso at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley. They had 56 wonderful years together.

Rosa worked as a housekeeper at McKee Medical Center and Berthoud Living Center until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family. Her legacy of compassion and love will live on in those who were blessed to know her. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Johnstown.

Rosa is survived by her daughters, Catherine (Mark) Benjamin and Patricia (David) Ramirez both of Greeley. She is also survived by grandchildren, Carolyn (Danny) Cruz, Andrea (Brian) Tellez, Rochelle (Rodolfo) Cruz, Matthew Creighton, Steven (Cydnie) Bejarano and Daniel Ramirez; great-grandchildren, Dominick, Isabella, Gabby, Michael, Jaysen, Lea, Ana, Kylie, Kayden, Emilia and Edwin; brothers, Santiago Lovato and Rick Maestas; and sisters, Gloria Hernandez, Lucy Camarillo and Frances Vigil. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Juan Troncoso; daughter, Juanita (Robin) Stuart; brothers, Manuel Lovato and Jose Maestas, and sister, Antonia (Lala) Coca. Rosary and Mass of the Christian Burial were on February 3, 2026, with interment at Johnstown Cemetery. Goodbye to a loving wonderful woman and beautiful mother.
