November 20, the Weld RE-5J School Board held its monthly meeting. The meeting was ultimately a big thank you to the community for all the work that everyone has done to make it how great it is today. Superintendent Scott Nielsen began the meeting giving recognition to the architects who helped build the new schools, and for all their hard work that allowed them to win an award known as the New Build For Learningscapes.
This award was given to them at a national conference in Oregon and is such an honor for a small-town community like us, he said.
