September 18, the Weld RE-5J School Board held its final meeting for the month of September.
Superintendent Scott Nielsen started by stating how amazed he is that the year is going by quickly and that the first quarter is soon ending. He also reported that he recently visited Roosevelt High School and met with a handful of students, and based on their ideas and feedback, he and David Benson, RHS Principal, are moving forward on adding some younger voices and opinions to each board meeting.
