I’ve been subscribing to The Breeze since the early 1970s. Contrary to last week’s column by Mike Littwin, here’s my opinion: 1. Mike thinks Joe Biden did the right thing by resigning. Truth is Biden was shamed into resigning by many Democrats and their high $ donors. Many months ago, the public questioned Biden’s competence and ability and were told by his managers that his mind is as sharp as a tack, and he works tirelessly hours on end. But then the debate happened. Painful to watch how incompetent he really was. His managers tried desperately to convince us that he had a cold or was off that particular night. Even after that embarrassing performance, I personally don’t think they would have ever questioned his staying in the race if his polling numbers were beating Trump. Anything to beat Trump, right?
2. Mike states Harris was a successful prosecutor in San Francisco before becoming a Senator. Have you been to or heard about San Francisco lately? They crap in the streets, but hey whatever you say Mike. Her becoming a successful Senator is nearly as laughable as her being a successful prosecutor and a successful Vice President. She basically was handed the Senate seat from California. Then she ran for President in 2020, finishing well below numerous other candidates. She was handed the VP for Biden not for her competence but with the DNC telling Biden to select a female and minority to attempt to get female and minority votes. A few words about Harris and her VP accomplishments: Border control, Israel, crime, wars and inflation. Funny thing is she and her supporters actually think and say she’s accomplished a lot in these areas.
