JOHNSTOWN – Town Council met Monday night to discuss and vote on an ordinance that was brought forward by Councilmember Nick Bashford. The ordinance proposed permanently reducing the town’s property tax mill levy by 8 mills incrementally.
Bashford said the intention behind the ordinance was to provide tax relief to property owners and to keep his campaign promises.
