At the September 16 Weld RE-5J Board of Education meeting, members celebrated educator Sabrina Weber, passed a second reading of updated board policies and appointed members to serve on the District Accountability Committee for the upcoming school year.
Weber works at Roosevelt High School as a business teacher and Future Business Leaders of America advisor. Recently, she was recognized as the 2026 Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain Educator of the Year. Weber’s work includes developing students’ financial literacy, career readiness and leadership skills.
