JT not offering data center incentives

JOHNSTOWN – The town is not offering incentives for data centers, Mayor Michael Duncan said this week.

Questions arose after a story last week in The Greeley Tribune about a meeting of Windsor residents about data centers quoted the Windsor mayor as saying that Johnstown, “is currently seeking to provide incentives for data centers,” and estimates that a data center would generate about $19 million in property taxes over five years.
