Years ago, when we had to cover a death in the community of someone we knew well, we asked former owner Ardis Briggs if it ever got any easier. In her own sweet and quiet way Ardis said that no, as you spend more time here and get to know people more, it actually just gets harder.
It’s been that type of a week at The Breeze. The community lost a group of people whose legacy and fond memories will long live on not only with us, but with many in the communities. We encourage you to read the obituaries in this week’s paper to get a sense of these people and their lives, and the lives they touched. All of them will be missed. Each had a special place in people’s hearts and brought unique and valuable talents and enthusiasm to the communities. This is why we run obituaries for free, to allow the family to tell the story of their loved one in full.
