Hooray! It’s almost Milliken Public Library opening day! We can’t wait to share our Bakerspace, Makerspace, and Flex Space, where we’ll lead programs to help you build new skills and bond with your community.
MPL will have a teaching kitchen, or Bakerspace. This kitchen features five cooking stations, making it possible for library staff to host large cooking classes. We are fully trained to teach people of all ages how to take their cooking to the next level. Are you someone that burns water? We’ve got you covered! We will have beginner classes that will teach you everyday skills. Our Bakerspace will host both demo classes, where you can watch and learn, and follow along classes, where you can expect to get your hands dirty. While we can’t answer whether the chicken or the egg came first, we can teach you how to cook them.
