Kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms will see a revamp of their literacy curriculum next school year after a new literacy curriculum was adopted at the Weld RE5J Board of Education’s meeting on March 4 at Roosevelt High School.
Prior to any action, the board meeting began with student and staff celebrations. Students from Roosevelt High School’s Poms team, girls wrestling and HOSA were all recognized for their recent accomplishments in their respective activities. Christy Duvall was also recognized for her 34 years of service to the school district ahead of her retirement at the end of the year.
