March 4, the 10th seed Lady Rough Riders went on the road to take on the 7th seed Mead Mavericks in the Sweet 16 of the 5A state basketball tournament.
The Mead fans showed up and were loud, as were the Roosevelt fans and supporters. The game was back and forth the whole time, as were the two fan bases sitting on opposite sides of the gymnasium.
