New Colorado poet laureate named

Indigenous writer Crisosto Apache will serve as Colorado’s poet laureate. They succeed the late Andrea Gibson, Gov. Jared Polis announced recently.

Apache said they are especially interested in sharing poetry with young people around the state to help “cultivate the voices for generations.”
