Well, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow on Monday. Lore says if Phil sees his shadow we are in for another 6 weeks of winter. While that may not be good news up north or back east, here in Colorado, we could sure use the additional time to build up the snowpack!
The VFW would like folks to know this Sunday’s VFW breakfast has been cancelled. It’s Super Bowl Sunday! Next month’s breakfast will take place as scheduled. And while we don’t know about you, we don’t have a lot of interest in the game. We’ll watch, probably, for the commercials (which don’t seem to have the same oomph they used to have, don’t you think?)
