The Weld RE-5J School District extends its sincere appreciation to the Johnstown Police Department for hosting a meaningful Career Connections event that welcomed students from Roosevelt High School and Roosevelt Middle School for a hands-on morning of learning and exploration.
During the visit, students engaged in interactive experiences designed to introduce them to careers in law enforcement. They observed demonstrations of police equipment, explored foundational policing practices, learned the basics of evidence collection, and participated in important conversations about the dangers of impaired driving. Offi cers created engaging, real- world scenarios that helped students better understand both the responsibilities and community impact of public safety professionals.
