The Weld RE-5J Board of Education met on January 21 for its regular meeting where the board approved a funding request from the Roosevelt High School Dance team as well as an out-of-state trip request for the Roosevelt Robotics team.
The dance team will be attending the National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, Florida, from January 27 until February 2. According to the funding request, the grand total for the trip is $25,323 and the group requested $3,247 to cover attendance costs for two chaperones. Registration, transportation, hotel and meals are all included in attendance costs.
