JOHNSTOWN – During the Town Council meeting Monday night, the council made further progress on Letford Park by approving a grant application to fund park construction and a professional services agreement for the final design of the park.
Johnstown residents have consistently made it clear that they want better parks and recreation offerings from the town according to the 2025 community survey. Residents will even be asked in April to consider a parks and open space 0.25 percent sales tax. If approved, the funds collected will be used to support recreational amenities in Johnstown.
