Look out folks, the Roosevelt High School girls wrestling team is starting to make a bit of a reputation for itself. With some solid roster moves and a few girls stepping up their game, the Lady Riders are beginning to make some noise.
Most recently, the ladies traveled to Arvada for the Bulldog Invitational and came home with a second-place team trophy. The Riders took two teams to the tournament, an 8-wrestler varsity team 1, and Roosevelt team 2 consisting of 4 sub varsity wrestlers that can wrestle effectively at the varsity level.
