Roosevelt Poms adds 5th state trophy

The Roosevelt High School Poms dynasty continued their assault on the 4A Poms world by winning their 5th consecutive state championship this past weekend. The win was their closest contested championship yet as the Riders scored an 89.475 in the finals to Holy Family’s 89.45. Standley Lake came in 3rd with an 82.025, Pueblo County came in 4th with an 81.175, and Windsor rounded out the top 5 with an 80.85.

Coming into the last three seasons Roosevelt has gone through the season ranked either 2nd or 3rd, but the results do not lie – the Rough Riders are the 4A Poms team of the decade – winning all the titles since 2020.
