We hope you and yours had a nice Thanksgiving. There’s more holiday fun coming this weekend. Be sure to check out the Johnstown Historical Society’s annual Holiday Open House this Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at the Historic Parish House Museum. More than 100 nativity sets will be on display. There will be food. There will be fun. There will be history. The Johnstown Senior Center will host its Christmas Boutique on Saturday as well from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, bundle up Sunday evening and come to downtown Johnstown for the lighting of the town Christmas tree at 5:30 p.m.
Family and friends gathered on November 1 to celebrate the 100th birthday of lifelong rural Johnstown resident Delbert Spaur. The milestone event took place at Dreams & Dragonfl ies Event Center where more than 100 attendees honored the centenarian a few days before his November 3 birthday.
