MILLIKEN – The Board of Trustees met on November 24 to discuss two agenda items: an amendment to the town’s land use code and the town’s 2026 proposed budget.
On June 30, Colorado House Bill 24-2252 went into effect and makes it easier for homeowners to build an accessory dwelling unit, also known as a granny flat, in-law suite or casita. The new law requires jurisdictions to, subject to approval, allow homes the ability to add an accessory dwelling unit.
