With origins of a dairy farm, land a few miles southwest of Johnstown has been transformed into a sprawling golf course.
Bella Ridge Golf Club has the qualities of a newborn, links-style track, but it already shows it will give players the experience worth the term “championship course.” As the course has been open about six weeks, the clubhouse is temporary and a shuttle must ferry golfers to the first tee, but that doesn’t take away from the experience awaiting players once they arrive.
