It was a great day for a playoff game last Saturday afternoon, unfortunately for the Rough Riders it wasn’t a great day for a playoff victory, as Roosevelt fell to the Palisade Bulldogs 21-14.
“Yeah, that one hurt,” said head coach Lane Wasinger. “But that’s the way it goes. We had five fumbles on the day, lost three of them. Putting the ball on the ground that often is crazy, there’s not much more to say about that. In opportunistic moments we lost our composure. It’s just young guys making mistakes.”
