Roosevelt High School is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students at the University of Northern Colorado Mini Innovation Challenge, held November 12. This year’s theme, “Innovate for Community Connection,” challenged students to develop entrepreneurial concepts designed to strengthen and support local communities. Roosevelt students embraced the challenge with creativity, teamwork, and confidence – ultimately earning top placements among competitors from across the region. Roosevelt’s winning teams included: 1st Place ($6,000 Scholarship): Brandon Johnson, Annabelle Rusco, Courtney Hanna, Nariah Stanley, Liam Burack. 4th Place: Izzy Fuller, Hannah Tames, Andrea Tikal, Emma Brown. 5th Place: Jayden Lewark, Adrian Sanchez, Adam Diehl, Miley Grentz. In addition to these awards, Roosevelt is celebrating a remarkable milestone: its students earned the highest score ever recorded in the history of the competition. “We are incredibly proud of our students and the way they represented Roosevelt High School,” said FBLA and Business College and Career Pathway Instructor Sabrina Weber. “Their ability to solve problems creatively and collaborate effectively is exactly what this challenge is all about.” Got a picture for Page 3?
