JOHNSTOWN – Revenue raised from sales and property taxes in downtown Johnstown will stay invested in that historic core area if downtown residents and business and property owners approve the creation of a Downtown Development Authority this coming April.
Sarah Crosthwaite, the town’s economic development director, said Town Council adopted a Downtown Master Plan in August. “Then we started working with an outside consulting firm to figure out how we make the vision (of the plan) a reality.”
