Ribbon cut at MIS

Milliken Intermediate School staff, students and community members met in the school’s cafeteria on October 21 to celebrate the school’s opening with a ribbon cutting, hear from staff and tour the updated facility.

After the ribbon cutting, attendees were invited to walk around the school and discover all the new improvements. The school has a brand-new coat of paint on the inside, and new amenities like a keyboard lab and a technology lab. The total cost for the improvements is around $1 million, with funding coming from a variety of sources like the Weld RE-5J general fund and outside donors.
