Plans are in full swing for the annual Senior Gift Giving Tree. Nicole’s Warehouse in Johnstown and Mil Haus Coffee in Milliken are excited to welcome O’Hara’s Irish Pub in Milliken as an additional location to pick up an ornament. Beginning the first week of November you can stop into any of the three and pick an ornament off the tree. The ornament will have two tags attached, one a gift tag that will clarify if the gift is for a male or female senior. Gifts need to be returned to that location no later than December 13 with the gift tag attached.
Beginning November 3, High Plains Library District (HPLD), in partnership with United Way of Weld County, will host diaper collection sites at all district libraries, including the Glenn A. Jones M.D. Memorial Library. Items to be collected include diapers, baby wipes, and rash cream. This year’s diaper drive will run until November 16.
