Last Friday night’s clash between 3A top 10 powers Windsor and Roosevelt lived up to all the hype. Windsor came into the game ranked 8th and touted the #1 defense in the state, only allowing 10 total points on their way to their 4-0 record. The Wizard offense came into the game just as feared, having averaged 37 points through four games.
As the game started there were some good signs for Roosevelt. The Rider offense started with the ball and marched it straight down the Wizard’s gullet, scoring on a 16-play 67-yard drive to put the Riders up 7-0.
