The Roosevelt Rough Rider boys golf program has taken great steps in the last two years under head coach, Casey Brock. The goal is to get as many kids to play golf as often as possible. Also to be as much involved as possible with the kids.
“We played in 24 different events this year, every kid in my program is going to play multiple events,” Brock said. “All of my top players are going to play at the maximum number of holes they’re allowed to play. We got to play five different private clubs this year. These are a lot of the best golf courses around the state. That was a big part of what they really wanted me to do (as the new coach), and it seems to be going well.”
