The Rifle Bears came into last Friday night’s football game with a 0-4 record. They were a team that wasn’t expected to put up much of a fight for the Riders, and Roosevelt was more than happy to prove that theory correct.
“Those type of games are always difficult,” said head coach Lane Wasinger. “The game went as we had hoped. You never quite know with kids, but the objective was to learn how to dominate an opponent you should dominate and that’s exactly what happened.”
