During the Weld RE-5J Board of Education meeting on August 6, the board approved an attendance policy that will be placed into student handbooks for the upcoming school year.
The proposed attendance policy states that it’s meant to support students and that missing school can interrupt a student’s academic growth, social development and overall success.
