The 101st annual Milliken Beef ‘n Bean Day’s theme was “Celebrating Families” and the one-day festival took place last Saturday. Jimmy Baugh, vice president of the Milliken Events Committee, said that this year’s theme refl ected Milliken’s small-town feel amidst a boom in growth.
“We chose the theme this year, ‘Celebrating Families,’ because our little town is growing, but we’re still trying to keep the small town feeling and traditions that we’ve enjoyed for the last 100 years,” Baugh said.
