Council looking at affordable housing

JOHNSTOWN – Monday night, Town Council met to discuss funding housing projects for low to middle-income residents, approved a region-wide code of ethics, updated on park construction and granted a pair of liquor licenses.

The town has accrued nearly $4 million in “private activity bonds” over the past three years to build an affordable housing complex. A resolution approved Monday night will allow the town to continue to put away money for a fourth year.
