Colorado health insurers have asked regulators to approve a 28.4 percent average increase to health insurance premium prices for next year, which would be the highest percentage increase since 2018.
Democrats blame the federal tax break and spending cut bill recently passed by congressional Republicans and signed into law by President Donald Trump earlier this month.
