Council OKs Parish zoning change

JOHNSTOWN – Monday night, Town Council discussed zoning and flooding issues near the gas station on Parish Avenue, a chain of command in case of emergencies for the Town Manager, along with granted a new liquor license.

The zoning approval proposed to the council was to allow the house on 109 Parish Ave to be torn down to allow the Sinclair gas station and convenience store to build a larger parking lot. Two residents came to the meeting to oppose the proposal.
