Brent Hopkins, agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor at Roosevelt High School, has been named the 2025 recipient of the Colorado John Knaub Outstanding Agricultural Teacher Award. Presented annually by the Colorado FFA Association, this award honors educators who demonstrate excellence in agricultural education, strong leadership, and a lasting impact on students and their communities.
Hopkins has served as the cornerstone of Roosevelt’s agriculture program for years, building it into one of the most accomplished FFA chapters in the state. Under his leadership, Roosevelt FFA has flourished, rooted in the four pillars of the National FFA Organization: Premier Leadership, Personal Growth, Career Success, and Agricultural Education.
