May 7, the Weld RE-5J School Board held its regular meeting at the administration office in Milliken. During this meeting, several RHS clubs and sports teams were given the opportunity to ask for permission to take trips to compete at national events.
The first club to ask for permission was Roosevelt FBLA. Back when they competed at the State Leadership Conference in April, they had a successful run with 41 members competing and 11 of them placing in the top ten. FBLA members shared their past experiences with the board, and why it is beneficial to attend the FBLA National Leadership Conference.
