The Town of Johnstown has announced it has again won the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Offi cers Association (GFOA). This is the second year in a row the town has received the award.
To earn this honor, Johnstown’s budget was evaluated against nationally recognized guidelines that measure the effectiveness of a budget as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide, and communications tool. The town’s budget met all criteria with proficiency.
