At 18, Roosevelt High School senior Yaelyn Chavez has an incredible number of academic achievements under her belt.
She’s held multiple leadership roles, founded clubs, maintains a 4.2 GPA and somehow found time for around 200 hours of community service in between it all. Even so, Chavez talks about her achievements with an air of modesty and always makes sure to thank the people who she says have contributed to her success as a student.
