Weld County Government is currently seeking civic- minded residents to fill three vacant positions on the Weld County Planning Commission. This is a great volunteer opportunity to get involved and help shape the future of land use and development across the county.
The Planning Commission plays a key role in guiding Weld County’s land use and development. Members conduct public hearings on zoning and land-use issues, review applications and proposed amendments to county policies and provide recommendations to the board of county commissioners on matters related to planning, zoning and subdivision development.
